Mayworth 2015
In May of every year there’s a Line Dancing event held in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.
The event is called Mayworth to differentiate it from the Tamworth Country Music festival which also includes Line Dancing and is held each year in January.
Mayworth runs over the course of 4 days and includes Line Dancing Competitions, multiple Line Dancing Workshop classes and social Line Dancing in the evenings.
Invited Australian and overseas choreographers and instructors teach at the Workshop Classes.
In May 2015 I took a group of my dancers to this event.
It was the first group trip I’d ever organised and I think it went really well…..everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Unfortunately we were all so busy dancing that we didn’t actually get many photos of dancers or the dancing.
